Dr. Hill is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama, with a concentration in Clinical Geropsychology. She completed her predoctoral internship at the VA St. Louis Healthcare System and a postdoctoral research position at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Hill’s research broadly focuses on stress, health, and well-being across adulthood into late life. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on Clinical Geropsychology and supervises a clinical practicum rotation at the UCCS Aging Center. She is a faculty affiliate at the UCCS Gerontology Center. In her free time, Dr. Hill enjoys playing board games with her family, hiking and spending time outdoors, and going for walks with her dog Moro (affectionately known as "Mr. Momo").

Danielle Dun is a first-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, with a major area of focus in Geropsychology. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and previously worked in the Stress and Neuroimaging Lab at the San Diego VA Healthcare System. Danielle’s research interests center on the impact of stress on cognitive aging and strategies to mitigate these effects. Outside of the lab, she enjoys discovering new coffee shops, running, traveling, and game nights.

Sarah Parks is an undergraduate biochemistry student at UCCS. She received her B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and is currently taking undergraduate courses at UCCS before pursuing graduate school. Through the SAGE lab she is excited to explore topics within stress and aging as well as learn more about the research process. Her background in hospice care has made her interested in how stressors over a lifespan impact various hospice populations. Sarah enjoys playing the saxophone and trombone and spending time with her dog Lily in her free time.

Miriam is a US Army veteran and an undergraduate student at UCCS pursuing a dual major in Nursing and Psychology. Miriam is interested in specializing in Psycho-oncology due to her own experience having cancer early in her military service. Her hobbies include hiking, working out, watching movies and reading.
Postbaccalaureate Research Assistant
Julie Egan is a 2025 UCCS graduate with degrees in psychology, criminal justice, and philosophy. She is interested in discovering more about the ways in which stress and daily life satisfaction impact cognitive function later in life. She is excited to gain experience and learn more about the research process in the SAGE Lab. Julie currently works as a registered behavior technician with young children on the autism spectrum and is hoping to pursue a Psychology Master's program in 2027. In her free time, Julie enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading.
